Our shade ball is a hollow ball made of virgin HDPE-UV material that creates a protective covering layer on the surface of various liquids. If the right amount of balls is placed on a given surface, over 91% of the surface can be covered. This cover separates and isolates the surface of the liquid from its environment.**

This innovative solution is known by many names in the industry - shade balls, cover balls, armor balls, barrier balls, or bird balls. While different terms exist, we as a manufacturer primarily use the terms shade ball and Bird Ball™.

What can it be used for?

What are the different types?

We have three different types of shade balls. Our air-filled, water-filled, and self-filling balls will not disappoint you even in extreme weather conditions. The air-filled shade balls can withstand winds of up to 80 km/h, while the water-filled and self-filling models can withstand gales of up to 150km/h.

How to use them?

Using shade balls is extremely simple! They are placed on the surface of the liquid, where the balls will automatically spread themselves and cover the surface evenly. Drop and forget for the next 30 years. They are maintenance-free so they do their job completely unnoticed and you can enjoy the long-term benefits of a shade ball cover with peace of mind.
