One of the biggest problems of effective water management is the water loss arising from evaporation, which - in the case of large surfaces, such as a reservoir - can be very difficult to control or reduce. Yet today, fresh water is becoming more and more valuable due to ongoing shortages in water sources and a growing population. Thus, minimizing evaporation has never been more important than it is today.
Just think of drinking water and irrigation water reservoirs, fire water reservoirs at airports, the drinking water and sludge reservoirs near to mines, and the reservoirs at animal breeding farms: evaporation loss is unwelcome wherever it occurs.
In addition to costing both time and money, replenishing water supplies results in significant additional expenses. What’s more, climate change raise the issue of how long we will be able to guarantee the necessary replenishment.
Water evaporation can be minimized!
Water evaporation can be significantly reduced with the use of our cover balls. The Bird Ball™, the water-filled Bird Ball™, and the Self-Filling Ball® all efficient solutions to the problem. By covering 91% of liquid surfaces in reservoirs, the evaporation loss can be reduced by up to 90% by minimizing the area of the uncovered surface. In addition the effect of environmental factors influencing the rate of evaporation will also be much smaller.
Using balls also greatly contributes to maintaining water quality, because algae formation and the growth of aquatic plants become a controllable process. Balls are worth installing on practically any type of reservoir as they offer benefits wherever they are utilized.
What if the wind rises?
The question may rightly arise in you: what happens to the plastic balls in windy weather? Most people imagine the wind simply picking up the entire cover layer and treats them as it pleases.
However, our balls aren’t that easy to remove!
The balls will not be disappointing, even in the most extreme weather conditions. Air-filled balls can withstand winds of up to 80 km/h, while water-filled and self-filling balls remain stationary even in 150 km/h windstorms.
How can the cover layer be installed?
Using the balls is incredibly simple! The balls spread themselves to cover the surface evenly. They require no maintenance during use, which means they do their job while remaining undetected!
Our balls are manufactured with a unique, patented technology that we developed ourselves, so you can say goodbye to evaporation-related problems for decades!
Why should B2B partners choose us as their playpen ball supplier?
Competition is fierce in almost all industries, everyone wants to win the purchasers and everyone wants people to buy from them. There is no difference when it comes to playpen ball sales.
Playhouse builders, operators, toy retailers and wholesalers all have a wide range of manufacturers to choose from.
Almost all purchasers have the same goal: to buy quality products that raise the standards of their services and offers. After all, if parents find that a playhouse provides their children impeccable balls or that a toy store offers good looking, durable products, they are much more likely to return to the service provider/store where their needs were satisfied.
However, it is not easy for companies to find the manufacturer that does not only promis, but also delivers quality.
Here’s a list of the five factors provinge that our statements are not only promises, but commitments we deliver.
Thanks to our professional experience and ongoing developments, the quality of our products has become a worldwide standard. Nevertheless, we never take quality for granted!
The quality of our playpen balls are continuously monitored during production process using various measurements and tests. During these tests, we subject randomly selected samples to much greater stress than they encounter during normal use: we cyclically compress them 20,000 times to half their original diameter.
Our balls only meet the strict quality requirements if they do not break after being compressed 20,000 times.
We provide a two-year warranty for our balls, though that does not mean that they can no longer be used after this period. In case of normal use, the lifetime of our balls is significantly longer than the warranty period. Our products are generally replaced because of their appearance: over time, their surface slowly starts to lose their sheen.
We manufacture balls in four different sizes:
Our most popular product is the 75 mm diameter ball, which is an essential component for children’s and adult playhouses, events, home pools, and tents. We recommend the smaller, 60 mm balls for younger generations (0-7 years), while the largest, 80 mm diameter balls are an ideal choice for any age group. The smallest, 50 mm balls are most often used for developmental games and therapies – due to their small size, they can be easily gasped by even children under the age of 1.
Our balls are available immediately from our warehouse in almost 40 different colors and in a number of thematic mixes. The range of colors we offer is continuously expanding in line with customer demand – we even offer the possibility of ordering unique colors.
Our manufacturing process allows us to customize our balls. There are two methods to do so: one is to apply an inscription, logo, graphic, or image on the surface. The other is to engrain the logo or graphic into the material of the ball itself.
When selecting raw materials, we always make sure they meet both the requirements involved with use and the health and safety requirements applicable to toys. Accordingly, the LDPE (low density polyethylene) we use is certified for use in the food industry. Our balls are surely BPA, phthalate, and PVC-free!
In terms of price to value ratio, our products are the best on the market. We pay special attention setting competitive prices to ensure that both our company and our B2B partners get a good deal!
We don’t play around when it comes to manufacturing!

The cover ball is a hollow high quality plastic ball that can be used to create a continuous cover layer on the surface of liquids. Depending on the amount of balls placed on a given surface, they can cover up 91% of the surface in a regular shape, self-arranging next to each other. This cover layer separates and isolates the open surface of the liquid from its surroundings, i.e. it significantly reduces the effect of the liquid on the environment and vice versa. In English, several names are used for these balls, often referred to as ‘shade ball’, ‘cover ball’, ‘armor ball’, ‘barrier ball’, or ‘bird ball’. We, as a proud European Manufacturer, call them cover ball and Bird Ball™.
The cover balls have countless benefits, so it can be used in many diverse areas. Those advantages usually help our partners to achieve their goals for cost-saving, more efficient water management, safer work environment, environment and nature protection. Thus, the Bird Ball™ is an excellent solution for reducing evaporation, preserving water quality, preventing algae formation, keeping birds away, camouflaging the water surface, thermal insulation, reducing heating costs, reducing the release of toxic gases and vapors, reducing unpleasant odors, covering hazardous materials and many more, where cost savings or other beneficial effects can be achieved as a result of use.
